 A special meeting of the Board was held on Sunday, August 1 to discuss
 matters that require decision in the near future:  Grex move, phone
 service, possible internet connection.
 
 Board members present:  Valerie Mates (popcorn) [chair], Dan Romanchik
 (danr) [treasurer], John Remmers (remmers) [secretary], STeve Andre (steve),
 Marc Unangst (mju).  Absent:  Meg Geddes (meg), Mike Smerza (morel).
 
 Others attending included Glenda Andre (glenda), Misti Anslin (mta), Andrew
 Lanagan (drew).  (The secretary probably missed a person or two; others
 please feel free to fill in any other attendees.)
 
 The secretary missed the first hour of the meeting, but as he understands
 it, no actions were taken.
 
 As new business, Marc brought up copyright issues involved in carrying the
 alt.pictures.* newsgroups.  Apparently, copyrighted material is posted
 regularly to these groups without permission.  The concensus was to
 stop carrying these groups immediately, in accordance with Grex policy
 prohibiting illegal postings.
 
 It was agreed to hold a Board meeting later in the week (Wednesday or
 Thursday) to continue discussion of issues not resolved at this meeting.
